Order on-line and make the payment via Mastercard, Visa or IDeal ! Just click on the shopping cart right next to the wine you want to order and you will be directed to the payment module.
After the payment has successfully been done, you will receive a confirmation by email, including the invoice for your administration.
You can also send us an email with your order. We will send an invoice back. You can then pay by bank transfer.
Exceptional tasting
Wednesday 18 April another beautiful tasting was organised at Best Of Wines/Bussumsche Wijnkooperij in Bussum, Netherlands. Rene Gabriel, the Bordeaux expert, joined us from Switzerland. So again, we learned a lot.
The first flight showed directly what we could expect from this evening. A line-up of what may be considered as the best Corton Charlemagnes producers: Leroy and Coche Dury. Both wines from 2001. The Leroy fat, voluminous, sweet and very easy to drink. The Coche very delicate, lots of strong accents but beautifully balanced. Coche won with 20 points to Leroy with 19 points (out of 20).
DRC Romanee Saint Vivant 1989 was again wonderful. Very ripe fruit, nice spices and sweetness. At its best now.
Then we went back in time.
Latour 1959, Mouton Rothschild 1961, Palmer 1961. All 100 (20) points wines. Can you choose ? The Latour was the winner according to the majority, Palmer heading second place. The Mouton had a high shoulder filling and appeared a bit older, but was undoubtly fascinating.
We continued with a comparising Mouton Rothschild 1986 (winner) and Lafite Rothschild 1986. Then Harlan 1995.
We finished with Yquem 1967, Yquem 2001 and an very rare magnum Yquem 1944. Dark colored, but wonderfull.
Enjoy wine they say. Well we did, except for the next day.....
Delivery or pick up yourself
