Notes of red berries, spices and smoke introduce the 2022 Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Rouge, a medium-bodied, pure and melting wine that's fleshy, fine-boned and mineral.

Very precise and crisp on the palate. Easy. Bright dark-berry fruit, cut with typical Pinot acidity. Fresh, elegant, but has a length to the flavour which shows that this producer knows what they are doing with the fickle Pinot grape. Classy, worth the money. GV (AWH)

Bottled in July. Destemmed. Some has been raised in barrel and a quarter in foudres. A beautiful fresh purple, lots of energy here, with a crunchy acidity behind the clean red fruit, very balanced.
